NBA 2K20 tops UK Charts
Last week (September 1 to September 7), the US sports game "NBA 2k20" sold well in the first week of the UK, ranking higher than the previous game "NBA 2k19" and won the championship.
According to a Games Industry report, the NBA 2K20 sales put the new game three spots higher than 2K19 was in last year. The report also mentions 2K20’s sales are “almost a third lower” when compared to those for 2K19. However, the game just debuted this past week and edged out Spyro Reignited Trilogy for the top spot. The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, and Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled rounded out the top five sellers for the UK.
The second place of Spyro Reignited Trilogy, the Activision game bounces back after the release of the Nintendo Switch version of the game, which accounted for 92% of the title's sales last week. Spyro may feel like a natural fit for Nintendo's console, but actually the game's first week sales are less than 10% of what it managed to do on PS4 back in November last year (and 28% of what was achieved on Xbox One).
Interestingly, the "NBA 2K20" Steam version evaluation is bad, the favorable rate is only 16%. Players' criticism of the game is mainly focused on the game's paid in-app purchases nba 2k20 mt coins and the poor version of the Steam version of the game and eating old (reusing 2K19 material).
There are also three new physical games to enter the last week's list. Catherine: Full Body PS4 starts in the ninth. Iceborne is ranked 20th in the starting lineup.
